Well, I just got back from this 24 relay thing that the city I live in does annually. It takes place in a really big park, and you have teams of 10 people, and the objective is to get as many laps as you can get in within the 24 hours. There is food and activities, and each team gets a location on the grass to set up 2 tents.

Anyways, it started out pretty nice - it was really warm, but cloudy, so it wasn't blazing hot. It got kinda boring though, and there wasn't much to do. We played some frisbee, and the frisbee kept on landing in this artificial river that circles the park, and i waded in there twice to retrieve it. As it got darker it got really windy, which was awesome, but it also got really really cold, which was not awesome. Plus my feet was stinky from wading in the river and running around barefoot in the grass. And my hair was really eeeeeeeeew too. Oh, and some people from my team tried to start a rave, but it didn't really work. People would rather sing really bad karaoke in tech tent than listen to awesome techno music and dance. I really must go to a real rave one day.

And I didn't get much sleep that night, and I kept on thinking I was hearing people that I knew in the tents around me. Perhaps I was hallucinating, since it turned out none of them were in the vicinity that night... And then morning was really cold as well, and my hair was bleeehhh and then I got home, took a nice hot shower, dressed, and sat in front of a computer.

Oh, and we played some interesting rounds of 10 fingers. And the burgers for dinner was really nice. And the way the golden sun glinted off the half-constructed glass faces of skyscrapers at sunset was absolutely beautiful. And the excitement when we were all huddled in our tent as strong gust buffeted the park and carried away a neighboring teams' canopy, which slammed into our tent.

All in all, it was quite an interesting experience, though next year I will remember to bring more blankets, food, and clothes. Especially scarves and hats and that sort of stuff.

and now I shall go to bed, since I am tired. u_u
